Isaac is an associate attorney at Tobias Iszard, practicing exclusively family law. His practice covers every type of family law matter in Virginia, including adoption, separation, divorce, custody, visitation, and support, with a focus on resolving asset distribution issues in divorce cases and preparing retirement orders for clients with military, civil servant and private retirement plans.
Isaac was born and raised in Stafford, Virginia. He attended George Mason University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology, magna cum laude, in 2016. Isaac received his Juris Doctor from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University in 2019. During law school, Isaac clerked at several firms specializing in civil litigation. From May until August 2017, Isaac clerked at a firm representing medical professionals, including doctors and dentists, in business and tort matters. From May 2018 to May 2019, he clerked at a firm working on complex commercial leasing and real estate matters.
After graduating from law school, Isaac sat for the Virginia Bar Exam and was admitted to the Virginia Bar in October 2019. Isaac joined Dougherty Tobias Iszard Northern Virginia Law, PC in September 2019, and Tobias Iszard, PC in April 2021. In December 2022, Isaac left Tobias Iszard, PC to work on employment and labor law matters for the U.S. Department of Commerce. While at the Department of Commerce, Isaac advised on issues touching all aspects of federal government employment benefits, including pay, leave, and retirement. Isaac returned to Tobias Iszard, PC in September 2024, bringing his knowledge of federal government employment benefits with him to assist clients in divorce and support matters.
