Kristen knew she wanted to be an attorney from a young age, following in the footsteps of her grandfather and great-grandfather. Born and raised in Westchester, New York, she attended John F. Kennedy Catholic Preparatory School and then Liberty University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus in Adult Development in 2010 and her Juris Doctor in 2013.
During law school, Kristen interned in the legal department of a New York City- based health insurance company, assisting counsel in legal projects and became familiar with HIPAA and HITECH. She subsequently earned her Third Year Practice Certificate, which enabled her to practice law with the local Commonwealth Attorney’s Office under the supervision of the attorneys there. Prior to graduating law school, she was able to assist in the prosecution of low-level offenses and begin honing her litigation skills.
Kristen joined The Reed Law Firm as an associate in 2014, where her primary practice areas included divorce and family law matters, as well as other civil litigation matters, traffic cases and criminal defense. She has also served as a Guardian ad Litem, representing and advocating for the needs of children in the community.
Kristen joined Tobias Iszard in 2023, where she concentrates her practice on family law, including divorce, annulments, custody, visitation, support and adoption.
Kristen is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Prince William County Bar Association and the Alexandria Bar Association. She has proven herself to be a diligent and effective advocate, as evidenced by her client reviews and her reputation amongst her peers. She zealously advocates for her clients, striving for the best possible outcomes whether through settlement or litigation.
